The mission of The Georgia Military College Foundation, Inc. is to secure and prudently manage private gifts in support of Georgia Military College (GMC). Established in 1955, it is the official fundraising arm of GMC. Along with the Alumni Association Board, the Foundation fosters a culture that unites philanthropic desires with college priorities.
Clear goals, well defined spending policies, far-sighted asset building strategies, and prudent investment management on the part of the GMC Foundation have overseen growth in recent years, ensuring careful handling of funds committed to honor the donors’ intent as well as to effectively impact the institution.
The endowment is a tribute to those willing to invest in GMC’s future. The value of endowment continues to increase through generous gifts and positive investment returns.
The Foundation is a separate, independent organization chartered by the State of Georgia as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit educational corporation. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
